Anyone here between the ages of 23-26 miss the good old days?

Remember boy bands? Remember pop punk music or the teen comedy movie hysteria that dominated the culture of the time? Remember when MTV still played music by white people? How about Eminem? Barenaked ladies, Blink 182 (remember "Whats my age again"), Alice Deejay, Fatboy Slim? or "Hey now your an allstar" (played at almost every bowling alley at the time)! ....

Yes folks I'm talking about the good old days indeed: the 99-2002 era. I'll never forget those prosperous years. It's so hard to believe that I graduated from high school almost seven years ago (2000)! Time has flown by so fast, yet at such a slow pace. So much has happened since then.

I remember it like it was yesterday. It was all about fun and being cool. Life was carefree, no bills, very little stress, and absolute good times. Anybody here miss those wonderful years? If so please feel free to post your experiences, favorite bands/groups (remember the Spice Girls!) lol, most memorable moments of the time.

Well, I'm a few years older than you, and the music of the late 90's was awful. The late 90's was when music really went downhill, and it still has not recovered. We went from the real talent of grunge and alternative in the early 90's to the cringe inducing pop of Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, the Spice Girls, and the boy bands in the late 90's. And lets not forget the nu-metal garbage of Limp Bizkit, etc., and the whiney punk-posers, like Blink 182.

I do agree with you on one thing, time does fly.

i'm 30 yet Im gonna answer besides. definite I do undergo in innovations those days,and slightly in the previous then,in the previous new steel relatively have been given vast, and mtv had song on it,and bands like elegant and little question and the previous type gadget have been everywhere in the radio,and certainty television,for an exceedingly couple of minutes, replaced into accually exciting.there have been no video recreation consoles that went over $250,gasoline expenditures have been existence like back then,and in the previous 9-11,usa replaced right into a happier place,yet issues exchange,and we could roll with it.the international looks lots greater depressing now,while in comparison with then,yet i decide for to think of that's a non everlasting scenario.to cite the song,"conserving the religion" by using Billy Joel "the stable previous days werent so stable,day after today aint as undesirable because it style of feels".

The Good Old Days? Those times were just rehash of things we had from 1987-1995. Remember 90210, The New Kids On the Block, Markie Mark, etc. Even those times were pretty much rehashed from the early 80's and even from before that.
