Parents NOT teaching their children what is right or wrong from the very beginning! Allowing their children to do what every they want with out any form of discipline!

Many do not read to or with their child, not to even mention going to the library, getting books and then reading!

Poor diets, no music, too often no phonetics.

Too many think that giving things equates to love, but their time is someplace else while its the baby sitter/nursery school or what ever! Any one, where ever but not QUALITY, HANDS ON TIME from BOTH parents!

The problem is PARENTS! Even worse are single parent families! The father cannot be a mother, the mother cannot be a father and NATURE requires Love and input from BOTH for the child to develop into a emotional stable human being!

If you got issues with that, take it up with nature! One alone cannot cause a child to come into this world! It takes male and female. It will never happen with male and male or female and female!

That they do not have a good enough environment to grow up in...I have heard of children being neglected as children, and then they grow up to be criminals, or they kill themselves, or they become alcoholics. We need to let kids be kids and stop giving them so much adult responsibilities-sometimes the responsibilities are forced upon them, because their parents cannot do it, due to the problems THEY had in their childhood. We also need to make our schools safer for kids. I'm not an expert, but that is my two cents on the issue.

This isn't a location for professionals. You would e mail researchers or professors of formative years growth for that. Autism, bipolar in formative years, essential melancholy with psychotic facets in formative years are one of the so much extreme problems. PTSD from formative years sexual abuse is among the so much extreme formative years disorders from the atmosphere. Reactive-Attachment-Disorder from early overlook and abuse is generally the one other thing extreme. If by means of severe you imply probably the most typical, ADHD could generally be probably the most typical behavioral crisis effecting youngsters.

self esteem issues. social is putting the standards way too high and criticising even the most minuscule of things. for example weight. it's suddenly normal and almost accepted to see some people like the olsen twins or nicole richie. when one of them gains a pound or two they're critised. girls aspire to be as thin as possible and see weight gain (even at an already LOW weight) as bad.

drugs are becoming an increasingly big concern. as a 20 year old i'm exposed to so many people my age (and much younger) who have surprisingly easy access to alot of illegal substances. it frustrates me because i see people who i know wouldn't normally be into that junk, but want to hang around with the 'cool' kids and get sucked in. it's the classic peer pressure story. oh cigarettes fall into this category too. i can't even believe how much young people still smoke after all the advertising and campaigns aimed specifically at them to show how horrible smoking is for your health. again society has played it's part in making smoking 'cool'.

come to think of it i think the media bombards us with too much crap about hollywood and celebrities and they often forget the real stories in the world. that's a huge problem especially to our children because they'll grow up with a distorted perception of what the real issues in the world are. what's more important to your child, 100 000 people dying of hunger overseas or britney spears getting married? well that's determined about what's on the cover of our most exposed magazines and newspaper, and we both know the answer to that.

i could probably lecture you for hours about my concerns with children these days but i'll end it here. thank you for listening!

Lack of discipline and having no respect for themselves or anyone else. Kids bad-mouth adults and the 'grown-ups' do absolutely nothing. "Just ignore it and it'll stop." Ignoring it is giving it permission to continue on.
