being only 24, I'm tired of both parties. The Jackasses and Elephants have formed too close of a bond for me. We need a new party. I suggest voting for Borat. Can't hurt. He has some nice ideas.

Yes, I'm so tired of the two party system; I'm tired of all the pork, I'm tired of the poor choices of the candidates, I'm tired of the electoral college, but if you don't vote, you don't get to b*tch. The whole two party system is another institution that has forgotten what is was originally set up to do. Another thing that has been corrupted. How can a president not be elected and get the majority of the peoples' vote? It's time for a change.

We are so accustomed to having rights, etc. that we tend to take many privilages in this country for granted. Voting is your right to free expression, something that people in many other countries would give their lives to have. There are several choices, you have:
Democratic Party (c.1824 - Present) , Republican Party (1854 - Present), Libertarian Party (1971 - Present), Constitution Party (formerly the U.S. Taxpayers Party) (1992 - Present), and Green Party. And don't forget, you also have the right to a write-in candidate if the listed candidates do not please you.
Not voting is so wrong. Voting is the only way to make a difference and the correct way to make your voice known.

Not voting anymore would just be letting the Aholes win. If enough people would get the smarts to vote them both out and put a new party in, maybe something worth while would be accomplished.

Not voting isn't the way to make things better. Getting out there and voting for what you believe in is going to make the most difference!

I am 37 and never have registered to vote due to the fact it is not a true vote by the people for the people.
For a vote to be cast and then the decision passed onto a person and then their vote actually counts....sorry...thats not democracy by definition.
And now they are dealing with voter machines w/ no paper trail, hacking the systems, etc. I am a web programmer, the second I saw the digital voting system I knew it had been hacked prior to it ever being shown. A computer can never be used for voting.

Check out Gov. Bill Richardson..He's just announced that he'll run.......Great governer, was Ambassador to several countries, has recently traveled to Korea to help with the peace process regarding nuclesr arms ..
Google the mans name and check out his background.
I had the same feelings that you had until i found that Richardson makes a lot of sense......He's not a pretty boy and believes in diplomacy......

I'm turned off by it, but not voting isn't going to solve it.
I vote in EVERY election, from presidential to sewer district.

Yes, and yes. Where is the democracy in the choice between two faces. Where does the underdog come from, can you see him/her? No, that’s because the media do not want you to have a choice -- Just the perceptual choice of two patsies. That is democracy.... Sad but true.
