People start a home business online to have the freedom to make their own choices in how to live their lives. That's a freedom most people don't get in a traditional job.
They want to be able to walk away from their work to play with their kids, take trips, or just relax when they are burned out.
They also want to have more control over their income. A successful online business gives you the freedom to give yourself a raise simply by working a little harder or a little smarter.
Many people have other things besides work that they want to do with their lives. And online business can be run part time and at any time of the day or night, so there is a chance to do other things as well.
Most people think they are going to make money immediately with an online business, but it is just like any other business. It takes time to build up a database of customers, and even before that it takes time to learn how to do it and then get set up, but for those who don't give up and make a solid profit, it really is one of the best lifestyles that can be had.

I didn't start any of my businesses online and that's why I made lots and lots and lots of money! Don't open a business online unless you have an original idea and did your research, created a realistic business and marketing plan and have gotten your capital in place. I hope you have the skills and experience or are willing to get them. Then and only then should you and be prepared for hard work, long hours, and still possible failure.

Personally I started making money part time to pay some extra bills over 1 year ago, of course I do more than one opportunity like doing surveys, data entry, selling items on "auction sites"
