There is no limit to happiness just like no one gets satisfied with money and space. Everyone wants more money and larger homes than they have. If one gets satisfied, he looses the motivation to progress or earn more. This hinders human growth. What if CEOs all sat at home because they had enough money? There would be no progress at all. Therefore, it is not good for humanity for people to think only the things that they came in this planet for. It is very selfish to think so.

Ask Yourself this question:

" WHAT DO I NOT WANT FROM MY LIFE? "

There are not many things that you don't want so it will be easy to list them down
Whatever does not figure in this list is waht you want from life

Now..get these follow this procedure
It's success depends on your understanding of yourself

" THINK OF THE HAPPY MOMENTS THAT YOU HAVE SPENT "

Think of the happiest ones
Ask yourself what made you happy then
You find how you can be happy by doing this

Next

" THINK OF THE PROBLEMS THAT YOU HAVE FACED SUCCESSFULLY AND NOT SO SUCCESSFULLY"

Find out the reasons that made you conquer your problems
By doing this you will discover the sources that provide you with strength
Now find out reasons why you could not fight problems
By doing this you will fight the causes of your failures
Try and eliminate these

This procedure requires patience so do it when you really need it and have the time to get it

Some great person once said

" God gives you only that you need and not that you want "

Try and use Gods gifts to overcome your fears about life's inadequancies and you will triumph in your cause

Best Of luck for your journey

If you don't know what you want from life, how come you don't?

I know what I want from life: happiness, in whatever form possible, I don't care in what form it comes, as long as it is happiness. It can come through love, passion for a hobby, passion for work, dance, great food, spiritual experiences, revelation, insights and practices, whatever.

If that's not enough for you and you can't feel what is most tempting of all the things that there is, consult your memory and think back to the things you have experienced and ask yourself which one of those experiences felt best to you. Then go for more of that, but still be open to totally new kinds of experiences, so that you can find even better things in the future. Always be open to find greater and greater life goals!

As for being selfish, yeah, we humans are selfish, that's our nature. Just as selfish is the church that accuses everyone of being selfish (as if being selfish were something unnatural and bad) while probably taking sadistic pleasure in doing so.

To recognise what you what out of life, you have to experience different things throughout life. By doing this you find what makes your life worth living. Taking time out to do some soul searching every now and then will also help discover your path.

Remember ' Life is about the choices we make, not the chances we take' .

some people find out easily what they want whereas some people need a lot longer to figure out. it's just a matter of time. i've seen people in their 40s not getting what they want. But the most important thing is never stop learning. The more you know, the better it is for you because you'll definitely end up somewhere good.

I don't think it's a dream. Not for me.
It's a realistic evaluation of life in this world.
Once that picture is clear, a decision may
be made where in the "Food Chain" a person
could best assume his / her position.

So to speak :b

For me it first came as just an idea, but then after thinking about it more and more and thinking about other things, ive come to realize after time what my dreams are in life and what i want to do in life.

Before dreams become reality, we must set goals.
Turn the dreams into goals, and make them a reality.
Figure out your "why" and then act on the dreams!
Little steps lead to giant leaps!

Dream what you really aspire. There is something God has in for store for everyone. There is something one feels that is his/her ultimate mission. You will get a feeling.

It's a saying that goes like this:-
"Here is a simple way to find out if your mission on Earth is accomplished.
If you are alive, it hasn't."

The best way is to live. This will give you the experience to find direction, and then specifics about what to look for.
