I'll suggest you some! Hope it helps!
-The Law of Ueki - I really like it! It's an action-packed anime, but then it teaches some lessons...
-Naruto - New style of being a ninja - anime-style. Forget those simple shurikens and smoke bombs. Techniques are useful than those things.
- Jigoku Shoujo/Girl From Hell - It's all about Enma Ai who delivers souls to hell. If you contact her during midnight through the internet, who will deliver revenge on your behalf.
- Yakitate Japan! - This comedy-adventure anime can teach you things about baking! They're so wise!!! Two characters are Harvard graduate!!!
- Full Metal Alchemist - Learn about alchemy - anime style.
- Tsubasa Chronicles/Chronicles of the wing - wasn't able to watch the whole thing but sure it is a good anime to watch!!!
- Alice Academy/Gakuen Alice - Can't explain...sorry!
- Shaman King - learn things about being a shaman.
- Magic Knight Rayearth - Can't explain either!!!

Thoughful animes(that's how I described them, ok?!): Kino No Tabi
Action(yes, blood blood blood!LOL): Naruto, Bleach
Fanservice( if ur into that kinda stuff...): Love Hina, Rizelmine, Negima

Naruto. This is a good anime because of the good voice acting in both versions. If you aren't into blood and fighting. then this is not for you. I would say Prince of Tennis would work if you like something that isn't into blood and fighting. Though it has some humor.

Cowboy Bebop! If you like futuristic computer graphics and bounty hunting space cowboys tracking drug fiends, criminals and such, this anime is awesome. It was so good, the series was remastered into Cowboy Bebop Remix volumes.
