One with a big type face and big buttons - as few bells and whistles as possible. Old people have bad eyes and are not so dexterous. If you can get hr a camera phone, though - go for it. Grannies love to take pictures! Then patiently show her how to use it.

PS Get her one where she can turn up the volume as well and show her how to do that. This is important for older people as their hearing is not so good sometimes.

I just got my grandmother one.... and if she is anything like mine you don't need to get any thing with a camera, video or even text messaging cause she won't figure it out!!. just find the simplest most basic phone out there(it's usually one of the cheaper ones)and get that....

one of the older tracefone models are really easy to use and because they are older they are cheaper.....buy her one of the year cards it comes with about 400 mins i think with all the bonus' that way she/you wont have to worry about her getting a monthly bill

Any brand in nokia. Nokia is easy to use, and better than any other in comparision.
