yes at the time people united together, and yes it's terrible that it takes something traumatic like 9-11 for everyone to unite.
I believe if we weren't lied to over and over again by our government possibly people would be a little more trusting to come together as a country...

That was because everyone still believed that we were attacked by Islamic terrorists. Now, many people are questioning that, and many others are convinced that 9/11 was an inside job!!!! People are angry because some still believe the lies that the Administration and the mainstream media told us in the beginning, and others don't! I for one, don't!! I am convinced that 9/11 was an inside job, and I have seen too many compelling documentaries to believe other wise. Besides, I have always known that our government is unspeakably corrupt!!!!!

War factories are controlling both parties. If one party is successfully stopping the War, the corporations start a campaign of discrediting the success, misdirecting the attention away from the enemy. "A chaos is created to make more arms. It is all for profit and capitalism wins. The poor workers and lower citizen soldier gets killed who cares." its all for the money.
Consider yourself being used.. ha ha..

The period of unity ended when Bush began his campaign of lies about Iraq. If you want to bring it back, we must end that war and Bush and Cheney must be punished.
