This answers itself - Is there any war that has ever been fought that was justified at least once, for at least one party. If there WAS at least one war that was justified for at least one participant, then the question is answered.
And I'd say there were plenty of times that a country was justified to fight, or at least fight back.

Sadly, war is necessary thing. Don't believe it? Ask a jew who was saved from a concentration camp. The French and British during WWII. Even better, ask the next black guy you see if he is happy about the Civil War. In some cases, without war there can be no peace. Basically, the world is like a big school yard. You have bullies that need put in there place with a good old fashion as$ beating. It is all they understand.

War is a necessity under certain circumstances....what those circumstances could be ?...for that we have to look in to the origins...root cause rather......since every one knows about Iraq war,i will say that First Iraq war was a necessity when Saddam invaded Kuwait....but the same can not be said of the present Iraq war...
In short war is outcome of EGO'S.....it can be dominating force Vs dominated , an outcome of frustrations, clash of ideologies or an outcome of arrogance,( means,...i can do it and no body can stop me type ) and then again it results in dominating some one and you have sown the seeds of another war.

It is justified, the school yard analagy is a good one. Would you think it ok that if nothing was done about 9-11? I dont think saddam had anything to do with it and we all know that there was no weapons of mass destrucion. If there were hard facts that saddam had a hand in 9-11 then i think he wouldnt not have been hanged in iraq, i belive he would have died in america, and then sent to be buried in iraq.

(War. Is it never permissible or can it be justifiable?)
to answer this question from a neutral point of view, Let us consider that war was not there then people would not require to live in groups and exert their superiority over another! (YES THIS WOULD BE IDEAL) But we started to live in groups to protect our youngone's and weak from the strong who where greedy and selfish. but this was carried further to other groups of humans and we created confusion.!!! & WAR'S
War on the other types of lives on this earth is also to be considered, NOW Deos it not feel that the cycle of war is actually continuing from the previous life???

Yes, there are wars worth fighting. WWII, for example, was worth the allies fighting. They were fighting to defend their nations, homes and families against tyranical regimes which were bent on world domination and the enslavement of people who were different from them. Imagine what the world would be like today if the allies just docilely rolled over for Hitler, the Nazis and the Japanese Empire.

The only way to secure peace is through war. Not with the olive branch but the bayonet.

You can try to justify anything if you try hard enough. But what's important is how solid your evidence is. If your means of justification are weak, then you might as well have said nothing at all.
