After all, even with the date worn off, it's a silver quarter. I have a lot of newer silver quarters, 1964, that may not be worth much more than the silver either.

It is worth 7-8 times face for it's silver content.

The wear is your disadvantage, but whatever the damage, it should sell at the price of silver in the current market price and a little more for age.
