Yes with Randy Orton being reportedly injured and now being out for six months, pushing Sheamus as the next top face of the Smackdown brand is the likely scenario the WWE will have to play out at this point. The WWE clealy has no choice but to push him at the moment. They can't just have a top babyface on Raw transition to Smackdown, as CM Punk and John Cena are currently a must stay for the Raw Brand. The likely scenario is the give the 2nd top babyface on Smackdown behind Randy Orton that spot so he could be the centerpiece of the brand. The WWE could also go with the current World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan, but considering he doesn't play that believable top face yet, I don't see it happening. Big Show is on the verge of turning into heel, so it can't be him either. So overall Sheamus seems like the best fit. BQ: Well I could easily start seeing the WWE have Wade Barrett continue his "Barrett Barrage" and run through opponents on Smackdown until it's time for the actually Royal Rumble match, than after the Royal Rumble PPV, the WWE could start the Barrett-Sheamus feud. In my personal opinion, a feud between Wade Barrett and Sheamus should and could easily be for the World Heavyweight Championship leading up. So the way I could see it, these two are likely going to be the Main Event at Main representing SD!. BQ2: Absolutely. The WWE would greatly be affected since not only is their #2 guy in the company Randy Orton is out of action but also their number #1 guy in the company, John Cena now being out of action due to injury. This would definitely take a big hit on the WWE and cause some serious problems from a long term perspective.
