You need a strong connection like cable, DSL or satellite and a system with a good processor and decent RAM.

If you use a modem and dial up don't even try streaming media. Get iTunes you can listen to a few commercial free stations and subscribe to some free podcasts. XM Online is only 7$ a month (US dollars) and has no commercials and better variety.

are you trying to listen to yahoo music in Uganda on your PC? if this is the case and there is a lot of interruption,you problably dont have a very good internet connection.I wouldnt think there are a lot of DSL or broadband based servers in Uganda.You could try to correct the settings or reboot your pc.

Just listen on http://www.musicgalore.net they seem to have alot of songs, something like over a million
