I'm not too smart with the whole gigabite converting, so apoximate the number of movies? Like 10? Or 3?

its the ipod video. you can store movies depending on how big the file is (the quality), its free to download if you know where to get them, and yes. plug in your ipod to the computer, select the file and open it with your computers media player and there you go.

IT really is a big scam. Movies cost quite a bit to download. Although you can watch them on the computer as well, the main problem is that Apple locks all video files to in .aac format only which makes it really inconvenient.
The video ipod plays only .aac files and if you want to watch anything else on it then you need to buy a software to convert to .aac

my friend has one and she has 5 movies on there..
I guess it depends on how long the movies are that you want.

they are like 9,99 to like 15 dollars... and i have a white 30 gigabute iPOd video
and i love it
it can hold up to 30 g of ipod videos and tv shows and music
