US law is getting so weird that who knows what you can or can't safely do? Maybe you should move to the UK, then you can happily spank each other all you want.

The bill likely has wording that makes it specific for minors. However, that doesn't mean that you don't have legal ramifications about spanking each other in the bedroom. Some domestic violence laws could make the practice illegal, despite being consensual activity. In Florida, a husband can be held or jailed, even when the wife claims that nothing is wrong. It only takes a single report to the police if someone overhears your spanking play, and the officers that arrive are REQUIRED to take someone in. Nothing that the wife says can change that. I bet you thought that consensuality made it alright, didn't you?
