I read somewhere where someone mentioned...

"It's not the gays and lesbians producing all these unwanted kids!"

It's true... what does sexual orientation have to do with how a child is raised....? I won't be surprised if gay rights reach their height and make a breakthrough with the government...

BESIDES without gay couples.. we wouldn't have DOLCE AND GABANNA (and other things.. can't think of more examples haha)

Thankfully, my son is totally my biological son. But, he has been raised by myself and my partner since he was in elementary school. This spring he will be graduating High School with honors and continuing on to college. He's a talented musician, played varsity sports (football), participates in both school orchestra and chamber orchestra, works a part-time job, is a member of two bands (one rock and one punk), plays upwards of twenty-some instruments, has never once been bullied, threatened, picked on, made fun of or harassed for having been raised by two lesbians.

I volunteer at his school, know most of the parents of his friends and we all get along. We've even had cook-outs, bonfires, and various other get-togethers for both the kids and us adults. We're all "INVOLVED" parents. Which, personally, makes ALL the difference in our kids.

You said... 'what does sexual orientation have to do with how a child is raised....? I won't be surprised if gay rights reach their height and make a breakthrough with the government...'

What sexual orientation has to do with how a child is raised is a very good question.
I guess we need to research people that were raised by gay couples and determine if they live quality lives, or if their mental state and substance use or suicide rate may somehow be related to parental nurture.
And it would indeed be a height for the gay agenda political lobby, but it would be a shameful low for American history.
In time some may say it was a sign of the decay of our values as a nation.

As for an individual that does a super job raising a child and also happens to be gay, well I am sure there are individual cases out there that are unique but we need to look at general trends.
Generally speaking is it better to raise a child in a traditional or same sex couple?

Yeah, Moonlight, those orphans could be so disgusted having to depart their orphanage or foster living house and be accompanied by skill of a loving couple, it is so gross. i'm helpful they sit down around all day going, "i'm desperate for some good parental figures in my existence... yet no queers!" besides, romola, i does no longer ask in right here especially, because of the fact as you will see from the above solutions, there is not any longer a number of human beings in right here who're against it, and people who're are oftentimes trolls like Moonlight anway. the religion and spirituality board will little question supply you many greater finished solutions. i've got have been given to assert, if i grow to be a instructor, i does no longer choose this subject matter in a million years. think of if somebody interior the class have been accompanied by skill of gay human beings. is that this at a spiritual college or public?

If two men and women want to marry that's fine with me. But when we start talking about impressionable children the rules change. I know that some will argue, "I was raised by two mothers or two fathers and look at me. I'm now a lawyer." That's not the point. There's been plenty of people who has done time in jail only to come out and accomplish that very same thing. So can you say that committing a crime and doing time was right because the ex-con is now a lawyer? No. Also, it is true that there are a lot of unwanted children in this world, but that's a weak excuse to allow same sex couples to adopt. Even if it were physically possible for same sex couples to have children what makes you think that they wouldn't also put children up for adoption?

It is so ridiculous when people say that kids need both a mother and a father because hardly any kids are raised by both their mom and their dad nowadays. Maybe we should ask kids what they would prefer ,two mommies(or 2 daddies) or a lifetime in foster care.

my hair dudes have 3 beautiful kids
and they lone them and sent them to a good private school
as far as the mom thing goes another friend will play the mom role as a backup if the kids are ever made fun of
i think that homosexuallity is ok... and the adoption thing is even more ok if they will love and care for the kids
and they usually will
