You have a point in there somewhere. Unfortunately it's eclipsed by your arrogant tone.

Isn't it strange that our government and the corporate media immediately granted victory to the terrorists by fear mongering and incessant fear propaganda.

Fear is a winner not just for the terrorists. The corporate media, defense and security companies, politicians, and the President all have benefited immensely from our societal fear since 9/11.

That is why there is no move to curb the rhetoric.

The President got his Patriot Act, and the most concentrated power in one branch in the history of the US. He got his torture policy, and has had free reign over the laws he chooses to obey.

The defense contractors got the bulk of US wealth through no bid contracts.

First the Republican politicians benefited in 2002 and 2004 because a vote for a Democrat was depicted as a vote for the terrorists, because only the Republicans could properly protect the country from another attack.

Then the Democrats benefited in this past election, because American casualties were high, and little had been done domestically to protect us from the terrorists.

The only loser in this New World Fear Order is the American public. Needlessly sacrificing their family members, their country's financial security, their privacy, their civil rights, their domestic programs, indeed, their very futures, based on EXTREME exaggerations of the threat, reinforced many times daily since 9/11/01.

The terrorists destroyed nearly 3000 lives, 7 buildings, 4 planes, and damaged the Pentagon.

The financial and moral damage done by this administration, both political parties, and the corporate media to this country and it's position in the world are not so easily measured, but the impact has been and will continue to be much greater.

Good morning my patriotic friend !

God Bless America !

Lets learn about literature:

Tragedy has nothing to do with 9/11 from an American perspective.........

Read the followings and you decide for yourself

A tragic hero is one who, on his own volition, attempts to attain or protect a value despite the fact that he knows he is risking his life to that end and loses his or her life during that risky struggle for the value which he sees to be higher than his or her own life.

Read carefully and decide if it is the suicidal bombers or the Americans experienced a tragedy

Let me sort out the characteristics of tragedy for you:
He should be well informed about his situation.

He should deliberately attempt to accomplish a virtuous act.

He must be sane to risk his life in exchange of the value he seeks for.

He must lose his life or a precious asset in his life or he must suffer at the end of his action.

If somebody tells you something different about what tragedy is, just spit at his or her face...

If you have any further question to ask, just ask me....

"Nietzche and Hegel are "nobodies" for me in this respect" ....

Aristotle as far as the poetics is concerned is not even a "nobody"

Tragic flaw is misjudgement or miscalculation. It is a slight error which wouldnt otherwise make a tragic person a base one. But a true tragic hero doesnt need to have a tragic flaw at all. Does Antigone have a tragic flaw? NOOOO... What about Oedipus? NOOOOO...

If you lived near it you might feel differently. I don't live in fear, but I do have respect and sadness for the people who died on 9/11.

Just like my parents generation who honored the people who died during the Pearl Harbor attack. My parents were old school dems. They would not recognize the dem party of today.

True.
