I'm having a baby boy named Landon Matthew and day now! And I would LOVE to find a better meaning of the name Landon for the baby book and the hospital baby website, the only one I can find is grassy field???? haha thats a little lame! lol Can Any one find any other meanings??

Landon is a nice original name. You don't hear of too many boys named Landon. It will stand the test of time because, It's not trendy.

That is the only different meaning I have found....I have gone several different sites & this is all I can find...sorry hun...

I did find the meaning of Matthew means "Gift of God"

There could many ways you can look at this....He is coming from the long hill as a Gift from God...to bless your life with his presence.
I just found out my Daughter's name Heather means a Flowering Plant....lol....it is still a beautiful name though...

I like the name Landon Matthew by the way
