On here and other blog like places there seems to be a lot of petty bickering. Both sides using unnessasary slurs and cheap shots that don't help anything. I chalk that up to mostly kids writing who don't even know what they are talking about just jumping on the "hate Bush bandwagon" for the most part. In Washington I see it pretty one sided. I've never heard Bush call anyone names like they do him. Or try to diminish their service record with false documents.I know that came from the media but I kind of have to lump the main stream media ABC CBS NBC the New York times in with the liberals who run the democratic party now a days. After all they never spoke any words denouncing this bogus try to make Bush look bad. In fact I bet they were saying under their breath damn it didn't work. but in a way it did because there are still lamebrains out there who think he was awol. It's kind of amazing to me that their half truths and out and out lies about him have worked so well but they are very good at what they do, and they understand human nature can be munipulated if you play on their emotions rather than facts. I am a conservative and could never be in the middle or believe in liberal ideas. But I respect their right to have them. But I don't respect the liberals in Washington using the war and other things to gain political power. What is their plan for the war? All I ever hear is what Bush is doing is wrong and he lied and tricked us into saying yes to war! BS Damn I could write a book on this lol. It's so frustrating to me.I blame the liberals for prolonging the war on terror with all their politically correct whining about the rights of detainees and people like Kerry saying our soldiers are killing women and children in the dead of night. It's inexcusable behavior to me.But the republicans in Washington seem to be cowtowing to the liberal way. Well ok so be it. I hope you all will enjoy higher taxes and less security and a weaker military in a couple years maybe 5. Good bye America you were once a great nation.

I cannot work at compromising with people who pull brand new constitutional rights out of thin air and who keep on repeatedly insisting that their version of "human rights" is automatically granted by their interpretation of the Constitution. Indeed, the reason I can't compromise with them is because they believe that they don't have to compromise -- their view is already in the Constitution (they think).

Well, they are kinda united on the hatred of Bush. Other than that, there's no real hope...
