Go under Yahoo Search and type in the county and state that the person lives in and public criminal records. This should bring up a few different websites but look for the site that is Free and is pertaining to that county. I live out in Lorain County, Ohio and the way I typed it to find out criminal info. on a guy that I was dating was. (public criminal records, lorain county, ohio) Good Luck.

In ohio and many other states, you can check with "The Corrections Department" website for that state. Also, many counties have similar, where you can search for local court records, and are usually more detailed. These records normally go back many years.

You can google them, and check the sex offender list for your state, but other than that I think you need private databases.
