Basically find it's prime factorization using a factor tree:

1386= 2*693
693=3*231
231=3*77
77=7*11

Therefore 1386 = (2)*(3^2)*(7)*(11)

find the factors of 1,386

e.g.
1386 = 693 x 2

693 can be separated into more factors

693 = 231 x 3
231 = 77 x 3
77 = 7 x 11

1,386 as a product of prime factors (numbers which only have 2 factors, 1 and itself)

2 x 3 x 3 x 7 x 11 = 1,386
