It's too often said that a circumcised penis is more hygienic. This may be true, if one lives in a region where there is lots of sand (sand getting stuck under the foreskin for long periods of time is bad) and no water and personal hygiene as a whole is nigh non-existent. But for the vast majority of the world this isn't a problem. A foreskin is very easy to take care of. Simply pull it back and wash underneath with water and mild soap like any other part of the body during a shower.

Some people think it's difficult or a hassel to pull back the foreskin, but for like 95% of all uncircumcised men, this isn't a problem at all. Of the 5% that do develop problems, only a fraction is severe enough to warrant circumcision. About 80% of the world's male population is uncircumcised, but rates vary by country and region. In the US, it used to be as high as 80-90%, but has dropped on the whole to around 55-65%.

I've never had any problems with my foreskin, and people have this paranoia about the foreskin in the US (most of which are unfounded). Besides, there are risks and complications that may arise from circumcision. The HIV thing is also blown out-of-proportion, and there is literature indicating the studies aren't as great as they seem. (see links for more info)

Okay an uncircumcised/intact penis is a penis with its foreskin still attached, which is a hooded area of skin covering the head of the penis. The foreskin is a natural thing, we men are both with it so it is not an extra piece of skin, it's there for a reason. The foreskin keeps the head of the penis covered, making it moist, smooth, and sensitive. The foreskin is full of nerves and is also the area on a man's body with the most erogenous zones, which means he receives most of his sexual pleasure from there. So yeah uncircumcised men feel much more pleasure than circumcised men, the sensitivity is natural you have to keep touching it and get your body used to it overtime. When a man is circumcised the foreskin is removed, all of those nerves are removed with it, so he loses a lot of sexual pleasure, it also leaves the head uncovered. When the head is uncovered it dries out, loses sensitivity, and becomes covered in keratin which makes it looks grainy and tough. The penis is supposed to be an internal organ keeping its parts covered at all times to maintain that sensitivity and moistness. So circumcision is a highly unnatural and unnecessary modification to the body, and makes it where a man can't enjoy his penis as fully as he's supposed to. If man was supposed to be circumcised, he would have been born without a foreskin no doubt, but he's born with it meaning it has a purpose and it's supposed to be there. -Sir Bluegarden

If uncircumcised penis was not good, men would have been born with penises shorn off the foreskin. Like all other parts of the body you need to keep your penis clean and hygenic. For that, a circumcised penis saves you the trouble of pulling back your foreskin and cleaning the tip.

All Muslims, according to the dictats of their religion have a circumcised penis. The operation is performed by a Maulvi with crude instruments, when a Muslim boy is very young. The associated ceremony is known as Sunnat. Followers of other religions may also circumcise by choice.

I'm sorry, I don't have the figures or percentage of men with circumcised penis. But I'm not one of them.

Worldwide, only about 15% of men have been cut. In the United States, it was popular for a while because of some untrue things that were said, but now that people understand better how harmful it is, the rate is falling very fast. Appromimately 50% of parents in the US now have their baby boys cut, but it is expected to fall below 10% in the next few years. In other parts of the world, it is very rare: under 2% in Japan and almost as low in most of Latin America and Europe. A chart by country can be found at the website below - you have to scroll down quite a distance to find it.

Circumcision is male genital mutilation, and it should be outlawed the same way female genital mutilation is outlawed.

Cut is more hygenic, although... uncut is more natural. I am personally glad that my parents didn't let some stranger mutilate my private area.
