Best is to try a make up at a counter in the mall. They give u good ideas. Just go with confidence and ask.
They will select a Foundation base for you. And give you suggestions for colors.
You don't have to buy.
You could also try the Brand name sites. They give tips on makeup too.
I get a feeling you do know what is best for you.

relatively some ladies placed on darkish makeup at night using fact the dim lights make darkish makeup greater flattering and frequently at night there are greater stylish places to attend different than college, artwork, etc. once you do not have lots time to get waiting interior the morning and you're so lively that your makeup might get smudged. yet, there is not any reason you could no longer placed on "night" makeup for the duration of the day. "night" makeup is completely a cliche, relatively some ladies decide for to placed on darkish colorings on a common foundation.

Wear light colored eyeshadow on the lid and into the corners/sides of your eyes.
If you want the effect of eyeliner, brush a darker color eye shadow in to your lash line.
And finish off with mascara.

If you are wearing dark eyeshadows on the entire lid, your eyes will look smaller. You need to find a light shade to apply on the lid, then apply the darker shade to the middle of the eyelid, starting in the center and brush outward. Hope you can understand this o.k.

Try neutral, light beige (pebble or almond) eye shadow for the eye lid, apply dark color only in the corners, and insert fake eyelashes only in the outer corners of your eyes. Use light beige or white eye shadow to accent and "open" the eye under the eyebrows

Here is an entry on how to wear dark eye makeup without closing up your eyes. It is targeted towards Asians but I think you could use some of the tips too.

I'm Asian myself and I *love* dark eye makeup too! Here is an example of me with dark eye makeup:

Let me know if you got more questions.

Don't eyeline the bottom of your eyes because that will only make them look smaller. You can also use white eyeliner closer to your eye and then black eyeliner to make them appear bigger.

In stead of eyeliner, maybe you should try the "smokey" eye look--
