How do i kill godmother in shrek 2?

I don't know how to kill her.I climbed up on that stage and i try to fight with her but i can't do her no damage.What's the way to kill the godmother

I hit with the sord her spells and turns bak at her but she does not come down.She "goes to sleep" when the spell is returned at her.By the way this is a pc game.

When she lands ..hit her you have to do that a few times but you have to be careful and stay alive!!
