I would not do that! I am an avid ebayer, I've bought a couple hundred items over the years and I'm telling you do not send cash! Thats like throwing it out the window! If they dont use paypal or another payment system go get a certified money order and send that. You will have a reciept that way. Do not wire money either, there is no way to track it. You will loose your money and never get what you paid for.

It depends on the seller on eBay. If their auction doesn't say, contact them. I have sent people cash before and everything went well (I have been buying and selling on eBay since 1998). However I would highly recommend using a certified letter (or certified airmail) because you don't want to get the cash lost.

I understand if it is overseas. Sometimes the seller doesn't accept money orders and if you don't have a pal pay or a credit card, then cash becomes the last resort. Whenever I sold an item I understand that so I always give buyers that option, but I recommend that it is certified because I would not be responsible for lost money. So I hope that gives you a little background.

If the seller is in the USA, I would recommend a money order because they are not that expensive and it is cheaper than certified mail.

Hi, If you want to pay cash, get a money order, and then send it. There's a lot of the sellers on ebay that won't take anything but paypal. Why not sign up for that,it's free. That's want i did,and it's a lot safer.

You can, but it's not a smart idea. Use pay-pal or something like that. If you pay with cash, there is no proof that you paid, there no guarantee you'll get what you ordered. And with the other forms of payment, eBay will usually reimburse you if something goes wrong.

Depends on which paying methods the seller wants. Some want credit cards, some checks, other Pay Pall. I don't think you CAN'T pay for it that way, but it all depends on how the seller wants to be paid.

it depends on the seller, but most would NOT do it. buy a money order or go to a bank and buy a cashier's check.

IF the seller's local to you they might sell for cash.
