Chase is the name of our bank. ;)
I guess it depends on what your last name is and how well they go together. I wouldn't name my son River, but if you really like it and feel comfortable with it, and think he'll do ok with a name like that once he becomes an adult and wants to be taken seriously, go for it.
Good luck!

Chase is a very over used name for little boys in the last 5 to 10 years, plus i am just not a huge fan of it personally. I do however really like the name River, it's very manly sounding, and it is different, it isnt someting you hear that often. I would go with River for sure!
Good Luck!

These are both original and great names... we were really partial to chase to name our son, but check out the social security administration web site to see how popular it is... its in the top 100.. which means he will probably have at least 3 other boys in his class with the same name... go for original... river is great too and not as common.
Chase is number 82
River is number 516
check the site out yourself...

I like River, just because. I have a little (second) cousin who's name is Chase and he is such a pain in the @ss. I mean a major pain!!!!!!!!!!!!!! His parent's constantly "chase" him around all of the time because he doesn't know how to listen, so in all honesty, the name is befitting of him. Go with River.

River???You are going to name your son River? And your daughter will probably be Lake,right?Jesus...Yeah,I definitely like Chase better...but it sounds like someone is chasing someone else.Chase is silly but it's better than River.
Haven't you considered some other names?Dylan, Erick, John, Benjamin, Roger, Andrew, Brian, Kollin, James, Harry, Garret, Ronald, Scott, William, Frederic, Tomas...

They are both wonderful names just don't use them both together. It would sound like a white water rafting adventure. The River Chase or Chase The River.
