All that I remember is a young girl, short blonde hair I think, that is turned out by her mother because her boyfriend doesn't like kids. The girl watches a public hanging and I think she knew one of the boys hung. He stole a loaf of bread and she was angry that they took his shoes. Strange, I know..but this is all I remember. It's driving me crazy.
