Does the position and texture of your cervix really have anything to do with determining early pregnancy?? I have gotten mixed answers on this that is why I am asking it again. Anyone with any useful information please share. Thanks

Yes it does, however you must first know what is normal for you and this means studying your cervix for months, if not years. Even then it is not 100%

Also some women experience a blue/purple cevix when pregnant (Chadwich's sign?) some do not. Some women get a blue cervix during menstruation.

So while it is possible to use the cervix to diagnose pregnancy it is first important to know what it "normal" for you.

I'm sure it does. I know the position and texture of the cervix can be useful in determining ovulation, so it makes sense that there would be some cervical change during early pregnancy that could be detected. I don't know exactly what that position or texture would be, though.

Changes in your cervix in early pregnancy can vary widely. For some its right away, and for others, these changes happen much later. I am quite familiar with my cervix, as I was TTC and I noticed a change in mine right away. Usually before my period it would get low, soft and open, and the month I conceived it was high, hard and closed. Everyone is different though, and cervical position is not a reliable indicator of early pregnancy for most people. I hope this helps :)

of course. certain textures provide more friction, it might feel better to the object inserted but slows down any forward progress of any lets say fluid. hold a bottle under a water faucet turn on the water and move the bottle a bit to either side how much water gets in
