I would say talk to them. You might not be as close, but it definitely wouldn't hurt to try and stay in contact.

Friends will always be friends. Try to call once a while and chat with them. If possible send some greeting cards for Christmas or new year.But the best ( and cheapest also) is to send e-mails about interesting articles and news. This will show that u still care and love them

well, friends are friends, and as you get older and go threw more in you life, you will realize that the biggest mistake a person can make is to have a best friend. trust me, i've been their. try to slowly forget about them, but dont tell them, just try to not talk to them anymore.

Really up to you. How close were you with them? It's always good to keep in touch now & then, e.g. sending Christmas cards every year.
