Darlin,
Ya are askin in the wrong venue. Ask a southern lady about her opinion. There is nothing wrong with you staying married and I have the impression that you have alot to lose if you divorce. I'm not for sure what else could be lost, but there is more than money involved.

A steel magnolia will find a way for her to endure. A hot house flower will wither away. You have to decide if you are a steel magnolia or a hot house flower. If he is basically a good man, and a good provider keep him.

GIRL! Stop it!

Texas law my a$$, he has a girlfriend don't he? why are you depriving yourself a life?

" As long as he know he can have you when he want (because you will be waiting) he will continue to act an a$$.

ONE DAY AT A TIME......... GET YOUR SELF CONFIDENCE TOGETHER, MAKE A CHANGE IN YOUR HAIR, ATTIRE, AND PUBLIC INTEREST. DON'T COMMUNICATE WITH HIM AT ALL. IN SIX MONTHS HE WILL BE BACK, BUT WITH THE NEW YOU AND NEW ATTITUDE......... YOU WILL SEE RIGHT THROUGH HIM!

p.s. "Use legal aide Girl"! you will get the % entitled to you by law.
"keep in mind the worst off you are since he left the more you can get in divorce". So do it now before you get a job. Your husband has to leave you in the same situation that you were in before he left! If you get a job (or make more money than he do) "Watch out".

OK, not to be mean, but forget about the money. He doesn't want you. Go get a job and work hard and you will also have money. You don't need a man. Especially a man who is going to cheat on you and find someone new before you are even divorced. It is hard and life is going to suck for you for a while, but it will get better. Stop being a victim. Start making changes.

Why would you NOT want a divorce from him? He doesn't want to be with you. Moving on with your life doesn't mean just finding someone else to support you. Work on your self. Create a new life for yourself. What about making your own money instead of trying to get it from him? He doesn't want to be with you and it doesn't matter if you get some money in the divorce, you are still going to need to find a way to support your self.

Seems like a lose-lose situation.
You cant live the way you are because he may eventually want to get remarried and wont be able to because of you.

You will never find your financial as well as personal independence if you keep latching onto "sugar daddies".

Find a way to get the $ you need to finalize a divorce and move on. It's best for you both in the long run.

What a bunch of baloney. Why would you even want this loser's money? He's trying to have his cake and eat it too and you're letting him. This is absolutely nonsense, this guy is being such a loser to you. It's better to get rid of him than have the $. But, you need to ask friends and family if they know of a divorce lawyer who does pro bono or if they know one at all. Get some recommendations and then call those lawyers and explain your situation - there are good lawyers who will help you.

I'm sorry, what was the question? I guess the one that wants to get married or move on the most will file.

The longer you go on with this, the harder its going to be. So your husband got another girlfriend..you were sepreated..let it go. But FILE ALREADY..
