If you cheated on your wife then yes, that is a reason for a divorce! A one night stand is still cheating and obviously you are entertaining the thought again (I read your last question). No one here is going to justify cheating for you... it is not OK and judging by the sound of your questions... you are the problem in your relationships.
Heck, obsessing about your high school sweet heart to the point of considering cheating with her if she would have you is grounds for divorce. You need to grow up.
Like I said before, get some counseling.

Yes and no. I think there are situations when stuff like that (making out, one night stand) could happen to you, without intention, without wanting to cheat on your mate, without plans to ever do it again. As the wife/husband, I would not ever want to hear about it though. **** happens, stop it, but don't start the 'I have to tell and say sorry' routine, 'cause that I could not deal with, thinking about what happened and why...I don't know if I am coming across clearly, I am just saying that we all make mistakes from time to time, and I feel, if we do all to fix it, we should not lose all over it.

Yes. Adultery is a grounds for divorce. Nobody has to put up with having their trust broken, their commitment disregarded, and the life they've built completely disrespected by another person. If I ever found out my boyfriend did something like that, I would beat the tar out of him with the first thing that came into my hands.

I think it is. Why would you need someone else when you r married. Wifey not enough? I sure would divorce your butt in a heartbeat. One night stand or a 3 month affair is cheating, and I think cheating stinks. If not happy, the best thing to do is divorce.

no a one night stand can be forgiven, if it hasn't turned into an affair, and the cheater is sorry and remorseful and realizes he made a mistake and is willing to earn the trust back from their spouse.one should not give up on a marriage due to a mistake if the spouse who made the mistake is willing to show the hurt spouse by their actions they will change. personally if this happened to me, i would be able to look over this, and move on, but all would hinge on their wanting to be forgiven, and their level of remorse, and willingness to discuss why, and allow me to communicate my pain without fear of being emotionally bashed for it or looked down on.

I reckon that if you are married, you have to be faithful to your partner and not play around and she should be faithful to you. A 'one night stand' is not right when you are married and I reckon that it should be grounds for divorce because people that have one night stands normally do it again and again. Why be married if you want to f#ck other people?

That would depend on the circumstances and how the spouse responded to this.Chances are it would lead to divorce.

Of course it is!!!
When you marry somebody you make promises to each other, promises to love, honour and respect. An affair is not respecting your spouse and personally, I would not lower myself to continue to be married to this person.
Go out and find someone worthy of your love, there are many decent people out their who don't play around.

In my opinion the only time divorce should be considered is in the case of adultery.
