it just stings alittle. it is an odd sensation and it makes your lips numb or like 10 minutes, but i guess it is worth it! its not a bad feeling if that is what you are asking.

I don't actually know from experience, but I hear that most of them sting. Not necessarily painfully, but stinging is normal. A lot of plumpers are basically inducing slight swelling in your lips- many brands use Cinnamon oil for it. I haven't seen the ingredients list from an Avon plumper. Try it once to see if the feeling bothers you.
I believe the stinging usually goes away after some minutes, but again, this all depends on ingredients.

I use the one by Bare Minerals - it really tingled the first time I used it, but after several days, I either got used to the sensation, or it was a little less potent, or a little of both.
The tingling lasts until the lip gloss wears off or until you eat/drink enough to get it off your lips...on the positive side, that's a good way to know when you need to reapply, whenever the tingly stops!
One tip I'd like to share: use a lip pencil to outline and color in your lips before applying the lip plumper - it intensifies the color, helps the color last longer, and may make the plumper tingle less.

Some do hurt. The pain can range anywhere from a slight tingly feeling all the way too excrutiating stinging and possible swelling. I find that Mary-Kate & Ashley Plumprageous Lip Gloss (can be purchased at Claire's) works pretty well and has absolutely NO pain or tingling at all.

an identical reason in case you bang your finger, it relatively is going to swell up. Lip plumpers worsen the flesh on your lips so they'll swell up. in case you get a astounding lip colour and practice it correct, you additionally could make your lips look slightly greater, without the soreness.

You know, my best friend decided to try a couple of these once. I watched her try it, and even though I already have bigger lips I was curious as to the level of pain myself and decided to try them. She had Duwop Lip Venom and Too Faced Lip Injection. The pain wasn't excruciating or anything, but it was enough to be a bit annoying and the glosses weren't any I would wear on a daily basis, even if I had thinner lips. As far as their results, they made mine and my friends' lips look somewhat "bee-stung" (redder) but not that much fuller in all actuality. What I mean is, if you've got small lips, don't expect to suddenly have full, luscious lips after using these products. The gloss's effects are anything but drastic.

I've used several different brands and have never had any pain, tingling or numbness. I doubt that an Avon product would cause a bad reaction. Believe it or not, they have some of the best rated cosmetics.

ummm I've never tried the one from Avon but the ones that i buy from sephora(lipfusion) they kind of tingle but only lasts for 5 minutes. i dont think it will be that intense unless it's something that contains alot of chemicals to really enchance your lips.

Most are just glosses or lipsticks that make the lips look fuller. Lip injections would hurt, but I doubt that's what you ordered lol.

I haven't had any from avon, but I have had some of Sally Hansen's and no it doesn't hurt. Unless, that is, if you are planning on using a needle to surgically plump your limps.
