i want a job that will help people or makes a difference, my interests are art, books, movies & volunteering and i think i like working in an environmetn where i can see results or that i'm actually contributing to something. i 'm not too social or good at math, i hate making speeches or oral presentations.

my writing skills are so so. I like to travel, learn about different cultures & ppl and im the type of person who is obsessed w/one thing, i learn all about it,but then quickly lose interest and find another subject. i'm also not a very organized or detail oriented person.

what kind of job or major do ppl w/my characteristcs tend to go into?

You like to travel? Help people and make a difference?

Be a airline pilot! Help people travel and so can you, plus you can make a difference if something bad happens to the plane... like it crashes and you save everyone on board.

But that really doesn't match with art, movies, and volunteering. So maybe be an some sort of aviation engineer that way you design the planes?

Plus, being a pilot is not like a average job like 8 to 5. You travel for days from home, like 14 days, and meet new places in the world. But it's a long and expensive road to reach.

Basically, I like the aviation field, so maybe you should check it out.

I recommend not thinking about double or triple majors. That would be too easy for you. Just pick one science major. Then do a a very personalized advanced degree. By the time you plan for graduate school you will be able to research what school has the faculty and flexibility to meet your interest. You can make you Ph.D. interdisciplinary. I think a double major makes you too narrow during a time when it is the last opportunity to broaden yourself.

Photojournalist. You'll see the world through your artistic lens, and since you aren't the most social person, a picture says a thousand words, right? You'll capture major events, thus contributing to society. How 'bout that?

Dear Cigarettes and Chocolate,
You probably have many more talents than you give yourself credit for. I suggest that you get out the phone book and scan the yellow pages, beginning with page 1. Take your time. There are so many occupations out there that no one ever mentions to us as we are trying to decide what field we should go into. The yellow pages are chock full of interesting possibilities.
