I don't want a long shoulder strap.....I want an about 22 inch one like what came with my purse orginally. I accidently snapped the strap in half. If it helps, I have the Baggy PM http://www.eluxury.com/browse/product_detail.jhtml?styleid=10960531&SectionID=6000
I know there are some straps on eluxury.com and some on ebay (I don't care if it's authentic.......just somewhere near what it should look like)but I don't have $100 to spend on a strap. I have around $30 or so.....and I know that sounds silly b/c I have a purse that cost about $1300 but it was a gift, I didn't purchase it myself, I am just a poor college student :) I once found a knock off purse that looked just like mine on Overstock.com for $25 and I was going to get that and just use the strap.....but I forgot and now it's gone :( Thanks!

already tried ebay......all I found was long straps that cost $100+ .......and the strap broke after 1 year because I don't know how to treat really nice things (sad, but it's the truth!) and the leather got dry (b/c I didn't oil it not once) and torn some then I tore it some more on accident then the strap was hanging by only a few strands and my boyfriend tore it the rest of the way.

I don't know how did you damage the strap, but if it's real it's not supposed to fail for long long time. We know Louis Vuitton for the quality. If you feel it's not really your fault (accidentally cut it, tear it) but the quality fail you, you should go to any Louis Vuitton boutique and ask for replacement. I did that with my zipper that doesn't work well and they fix it for free. You shouldn't put fake things on your real LV that will be a sin:)

Louis Vuitton Purse Strap

Ok I've had replicas...They are very very cheaply made! To the point where it was extremely easy to tell mine were fake. Maybe from not far away, but up close you could totally tell without even touching it. The zippers are cheap, the cloth inside is cheap, it's pretty bad. Although they are totally fun to take out for a special occasion, they would not hold up as a everyday purse. If you have the money to invest in a nice purse like that and that's what you have your heart set on, I say than go for it. Those purses hold their value if you take good care of it. I'm sure you already know how important it would be to keep a close eye on it. I was at costco the other day and this lady had her louis vuitton buckled into the cart where you would typically put a child because she obviously was worried about someone snatching it!! Lol. Enjoy, no harm on splurging a little and treating yourself, heck you only live once!!

You should check www.mypoupette.com and browse ebay auctions of the authorized resellers. You may be able to find a used, authentic strap. It would be unfortunate to cheapen your bag with a fake strap. OR take it to Louis Vuitton and see if they can repair. I am shocked that the strap broke - I have never experienced that. Best of luck!

I actually have run across this outlet online and then purchased one there. Not quite impressive about the shipping speed however does save you around 82% and delighted to have this. The quality is actually superior and right until now not find a flaws.
