Angkor Wat is indeed in Cambodia, but at one time it may have been under the control of "Vietnam", prior to 1956 perhaps. Cambodia was controlled by the French and would likely have fallen under the authority of French Indochina (Vietnam, another colony) to some extent. Not a fact, just a guess. I tend to be right about as often as I'm wrong, but I do study 20th century history so I might have gotten this one!

Angkor Wat is not in Vietnam, it is in Cambodia. It was built during the Khmer empire which controled much of southeast asia including much of Thailand. I have actually been there and it's really an amazing place

Angkor Wat doesn't belong to Vietnam. It belong to Cambodia.
