He's always been there; it's just that Larry Brown didn't play him as much so he didn't get a chance to shine. David Lee just hustles more than the other people, which is how he has earned him minutes, which gives him ample opportunity to shine.

He's from the Univeristy of Florida. Lots of players just come out of nowhere. Sorry for the Florida example but i've been a fan since birth....but Joakim Noah wasn't a starter until last year (when they won the Final Four) and still wasn't all that great of a player till March Madness. Previous years before he averaged like 5 minutes a game ... so it just happens. When players get a chance to prove themselves they go out and do it

He has been around for a minute. He just started getting playing time. He played for the Florida Gators and before that was a McDonald's All-American and dunk champion. He has the height, arm span, and leaping ability to get those double-doubles.

David Lee had one stable 365 days (final 365 days) partly using fact he knew loose employer replaced into bobbing up and communities may be comparing him. He can not play protection and is undersized as a center. he will maximum probable pass to Minnesota or Chicago

He was a high school phenom who went to Florida. He's a hard working rebounder who plays smart. He was always succesful, he is just now getting clock. He won the McDonalds High School dunk contest when he was in HS, it was sick! He jumped in the air, ripped his shirt off in mid air, then dunked!
