I have had 5 u/s to date my pregnancy between weeks 7-20. They all give me the same EDD and ae on target from the previous u/s, But my LMP gives me a EDD of 5 weeks earlier. Which date is best to trust? 5 weeks is a long time and I think to much to be off?

You got an ultrasound early (7 weeks), that date is the most accurate. If all of the ultrasounds agree, that's the date. The LMP is most likely off because you missed a period without being pregnant.
A warning, if you go into labor after the due date given by your LMP, demand an ultrsound and maybe an amnio before letting them stop labor. Talk about this possibility with your doctor before you get to that date, make a plan of action.
Hope this helps

personally I'd trust the LMP, even though 5 weeks does sound a bit much. Ultrasounds are notorious for being wrong on dates and sizes...seems I'm always hearing about an u/s saying a baby is larger then it really is at birth. From experience my lmp (which lined up with conception - so I knew it was correct) had a 2 week difference from the u/s.

Probably the ultrasound, as this measures the fetus acurately. Your other due date is simply based off of the first day of your last period if you ovulate on day 14 and have 28 day cycles. Keep in mind that EDD is ESTIMATED due date.

Well it's hard to say. You could have been pregnant before your missed period. Oooooooor you could have a bigger baby. Since u/s tend to look more at the size of the baby when estimating due dates. The development of the baby's organs could vary. I would say that you should get ready to have your baby 5 weeks early just in case. Good luck!

The baby will come when the baby is ready, so long as you do not let the medical system overrule nature you will be fine.
