In life we go through four stages: there are fetus, infant, child and adult.
A human fetus is a human.
At 18-25 days: the fetus's heart is already beating and the foundation for the nervous system is set.
At four weeks: the blood circulation is well-established. The larynx, inner ear, legs, arms, liver, pancreas, lungs and stomach are forming.
At just 42 days: the skeleton is formed and reflexes are present. Brain waves can be detected.
At six weeks: The fetus has all the internal organs of an adult and the hardening of the bones begins.
At seven weeks: the fetus would move away if touched through the uterine wall. If you were to tickle his/her nose, he would move his/her head away from the stimulus.
At eight weeks: the fetus’s upper lip, external ears, and external genitalia are visible.
At nine weeks: The iris of the eye and the finger nails appear now. He can squint, swallow, move his tongue, and would make a fist if you were to stroke his/her palm.
At ten weeks: The brain now has the same structure it will have at birth. Within the next week, all body systems will begin functioning.
At eleven weeks: The fetus's teeth have formed, the pancreas is secreting insulin, and the fetal heartbeat can be detected electronically now.
At twelve weeks: The fetus is sucking his/her thumb vigorously and practices breathing the amniotic fluid into and out of his/her lungs to develop them. His/her kidneys are making urine and his/her heartbeat can be detected electronically.

Human. Just because he is still developing, doesn't mean he's not alive. Babies-adolescence are still developing too, it's just that the baby isn't ready to be out of the mother yet.
Even if you argue this point... that fetus WILL one day BE human. Abortion is denying this human the right to live.

Well if it is the fetus of a human - then it is human. If it is the fetus of a canine - then it is canine. If it is the fetus of a feline - then it is feline. Etc., etc., etc. - depends on what creature made the the fetus.
fetus - an unborn or unhatched vertebrate in the later stages of development showing the main recognizable features of the mature animal

I saw a woman who had a picture of her belly with a foot sticking out. It was hard to explain but to see a foot pushing on her belly proved to me that a fetus is as human as it gets.
