I was telling him about this song my launchcast randomly played this great doowop song and I was telling him about it and he had no idea what doowop was. What are your thoughts?

I don't think it's sad. Some people think doo-wop is sad. Certainly Sha-Na-Na sucked. But my Favorite doo-wop song is I'm Not A Juvenile Delinquent, by Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers. Check it out.

yes it is sad. Doowop is one of the originals versions of rock n roll.
hey check out your local PBS station they usually show doowop concerts.
