Wouldn't it be awesome if Bart & Lisa finally went to the next grade and everybody got new clothes?

At this point, they need to make some sort of a change or simply end the show. They are on the verge of turning a legendary show into just your average, bad television show. After 17 seasons, obviously they're running low on fresh ideas, so maybe an advance in ages would do the show right. It would allow them to reuse some show concepts from earlier seasons, and definitely boost ratings. Hey, it worked for south park!

I am guessing that there will be a change soon since the Simpsons have a movie coming out
