I am looking for information on "The Knights of Sherwood Forest" or the KSF for short. They were a group(now defunct) like the Knights of Colubus, etc. My great great great grandfther was a member, but there is no one in the family to get info from, and I have found VERY little info on the internet.Does anyone have an ancestor that belonged to this group or have info on them.It would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Try looking in an omnibus site dealing with the history of fraternal organizations in the United States. There were a lot of them. A general history might give you clues or links that you could follow up on. They may have been subsumed into one of the surviving ones.

Try looking up anything on Robin Hood...unless you are referring to the Sherwood Forest in the USA, in which case I can't help you. :)

The Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire, UK, has a website
http://www.nottinghamshire.gov.uk/home/leisure/countryparks/sherwoodforestcp.htm

Perhaps you could email them and ask for some more information.
