Most of the nations have only men as heads of state.Why not women?Is male chouvinism still continuing

The US will before China or India, those two countries are still Patriarchal societies (look it up if you don't know what it means). Change of any kind in a society is almost always a long process. You may be surprised if Hillary runs and wins in 08'.

I cant speak for China or India, but for the US anyone (male or female) over the age of 35 and born in the USA can run for president.

women can be heads at least of America. but she needs to be a strong women . to find a women who wants to give up her entire life away from the family. Take the track of forever politics. Most women like balance, they are not so one minded as men. and that one mindedness helps you reach goals like CEO, President, Governor. But the question is what do you gain, and what do you loose.

India had a woman as premier / China won't for a long time / Hopefully the U.S. won't have one until 2016.
