The police, media and people refuse to believe that it's something supernatural when people are killed, but in real life these type of supernatural explanations are not rejected but is often a hoax or reported in the media to generate public interest? The characters deserve to die since they wouldn't believe even if a ghost punches them in the face..

Well, that is true.
If you are police man on duty and some one call you to say there is ghost, what is your first reaction?
