The man is almost 75 years old. If I reach that age and still want to work and socialize, I'd get a face lift too. Why would that be such a sad commentary? However, I think you information is a little off because Clint Eastwood did not get a face lift. Sylvester Stallone did to do his newest Rocky movie.

I guess I'm of the "sick society" as one poster called us. I do think if this is true that it is sad. I mean....what's wrong with growing old gracefully? I think alot of these people that have this done look ridiculious...Burt Reynolds, Micky Rourke just to name a couple, they would look much better had they left well enough alone. I do think Raquel Welch and even Joan Rivers looks really nice but they must have had better surgeons or something. An example of someone who has grown old gracefully and, to me, is still a handsome man is Paul Newmann...I don't think he's had anything done, if so I sure can't tell it.

Are you of the "sick generation"? There's nothing wrong with getting a face lift. Its his voice that made him famous, then his face.
