The Senate ALONE has the power to TRY an impeached President.

The House votes by simple majority to impeach, but the Senate conducts the trial at which they decide whether or not to remove the President. The Chief Justice presides at the trial -- like a judge presiding over a criminal trial.

Impeaching the president is a long process. You first need 2/3 of the U.S. House of Representatives to allow a trial of the president. Then the president is brought before the senate with the cheif justic presiding the case. In order for him to be impeached the senate needs to cast a 2/3 vote. Any vote less the president is acquited, which happened under Andrew Johnson.

lol why? you gonna write him a letter? think he cares what you think either way? No single person can impeach a president, it is a long process involving possibly Congress, The House, The Supreme Court, and other government officials and agencies.
