Each college has their own rules, but generally two semesters of full time study completed classifies you as a sophmore.

It depends on the college. And, are you on semester hours, or on quarters...?
AT my college you needed 24 semester hours. That's 1/4 of the total that was needed to graduate.

most colleges require 30 hours, assuming one will be taking a course load of 15 hours each semester. and you have to have 120 hours to grad. which is 4 years.

depends....at my school it is 30 credits- the suggested load is 15-16 credits a semester, so two semesters.
