A quick, cheap way of getting your lips back into condition is to brush them with a toothbrush. This exfoliates the lips and gets rid of dead skin cells that could be building up. Or you can buy a product specially formulated to help with lip exfoliation, try The Body Shop Lip Scuff. Also, make sure that you’re using a lip product with a sunscreen in it. Nivea Lip Care Sun SPF 30 on hand. Kissable lips will soon be yours again!

Try using chap sticks. Apply it smoothly on ur lips before applying lipstick or lipgloss if u want to. Usuall dry lips are caused by the weather - the cold or anorexic ppl have dry lips for some reason. Anyway...If chap sticks don't work try using lip balms from the Body Shop or use vaseline every night b4 sleeping (put alot) so in the morning it looks natural and beatuifully red.

Dry lips could be a symptom to many causes. E.g., your lips could be drying up due to your breathing through your mouth. And this could be because you maybe experiencing any number of problems with your nose and/or nasal cavities.
Therefore, the solution would be to tackle the cause of the problem and not just the symptoms. I recommend that you see an ENT specialist. If all is well in that area then your next stop is to see a dermatologist. Perhaps your skin is lacking nourishment that a dermatologist could recommend a remedy for.
Good Luck!

Mary Kay Cosmetics has a product called "Satin Lips" that is wonderful. Call a Mary Kay Rep and check it out. I also discovered a lip gel by Aquafina - the bottled water people - that is very good. You can find that stuff at Wal-Mart.

Go buy Vaseline Petroleum Jelly.
Scrub your lips with soap on a washcloth or toothbrush, and apply lots of Vaseline. Keep your lips moist all the time with petroleum jelly. It's inexpensive and it works.

Have you tried Burt's Beeswax (www.burtsbees.com/)? I haven't found anything better. It stays on the longest and doesn't leave my lips all sticky.
