Congratulations on your excellent scores.

Not only will these scores look good on an application, but at most universities, these scores will allow you to either count your score as fulfilling introductory calculus and chemistry courses (so you can immediately take upper level courses), OR you may be allowed to take higher-level, faster-paced, but still introductory calculus and chemistry courses. (How this operates varies from university to university.)

(Many medical schools count an AP calculus score of 5 as fulfilling their application requirement, so if you wish, you could refrain from taking any more calculus at all while in college.)

a 5 is the highest you can score on any AP test. Depending on the college you can get not only credit for one class of calculus or chemistry but sometimes 2. I went to UCLA's website and you can get 8 units of credit for general chemistry and depending on whether you took Caculus AB or Calculus BC, you can get 4 units of credit for Calculus AB for course # 31A or if you took Calculus BC you can get 8 units of credit for course # 31A and 31B. That is if you received a 5 on the test. You can go here to look at the other scores.

The only problem with receiving a 5 on the AP Chemistry test and then majoring in Chemistry is that often the college that you apply to will only accept it as an elective credit and not a chemistry credit because they want you to take their chemistry courses. I'm facing the same problem with majoring in biology although i havent taken the AP Biology test yet.

APUSH is a lot of DBQs, that's lots of artwork yet no longer too annoying, i did no longer comprehend there grow to be an AP English, examine if that's lit or lang. I hear language is stupidly annoying because of the on a regular basis homework. In Lit, you're able to do each little thing by way of examining sparknotes (I take it now). archives grow to be particularly hassle-free for me (Junior 300 and sixty 5 days), yet I had an outstanding instructor and am math group. you're able to do properly in this classification with an comprehend-how of the challenge and a few practice. I have been given a 5 on the AP Stat examination. Psych isn't an AP classification, in terms of challenge. that's like a fingerpainting classification you will have in kindergarden, at a particular desires college. different than worse. i do no longer take it, yet there's a reason the vast majority of scholars take this classification. college Psych training are crammed with scholars. NB, All my suggestion is going out the window once you have an astonishing instructor. annoying instructors could make any challenge complicated, and good instructors could make any challenge bearable. challenge is likewise relative to somebody individual's hobbies. So is relevance. Ask some seniors, sit down in on a classification, and below no circumstances do you ought to take something tougher than you are able to preserve. Doing 5 APs isn't unparalleled at my college.

Whether or not a college will accept an AP Class is up to the college, and you can find this out on their website or by calling them.

However, a five, being the highest grade you can get, will certainly make you seem very desirable to a college. AP classes are supposed to be equivalent to a college class, and thus many colleges will consider in the admissions process.

A five is definitely the highest you can get, so yeah. It looks amazing. Now please excuse me while I simmer in jealousy. :)

If this is something you got (and not a hypothetical question), then seriously, CONGRATUALTIONS!!!
