Being older I must admit I am not use to fancy names, yet the other morning I met a young child named River - and I must say - after pondering it - I am beginning to appreciate these new names that people are thinking of!
Just when naming a child try to think of a name which other people can pronounce without instructions, or embarrassment!
Dasani - lovely name as long as it doesn't miss match with her last name

Its pretty...you could change it up a bit like...Dashani? What do you think about that? Or Dazani ...lots of pretty names out there i know a little girl named Giarri and i bet u never heard of that name before unless its catching on...for me i stuck to an nice french name for my little girl (she is part Haitian) cause i wanted to keep to tradition but honored both moms by giving her two middle names..i thought that was nice...when my hubby and i have a boy hopefully we plan to name him Kale like the vegetable!

ok. to be honest.....i dont like it. my sisters middle name is dannon.

you know like dannon yogurt. for some reason everytime i hear her name i wonder WHY my parents felt the need to name her dannon. and did they really expect someone not to point it out.

i think if you named your child Dasani, she will be picked on all her life for having the name of bottled water.

come to think of it....i think dannon also bottles water........

I like it because it so calm and refreshing...only problem is people will tease her for it ( my friend's name is Loreale---we call her shampoo)
