There are only 11 doctoral programs in women's studies in the US. However, there are also 5 joint programs, in which a student works toward an M.A. and Ph.D. in women's studies and another discipline.

There are also many Ph.D. programs in which you can earn a certificate in women's studies as an added focus within your particular discipline (Anthro, Religious Studies, Sociology, History, etc.).
