Ex US presidents can run for any public office except for president again if they served two full terms (4+4=8 years). Grover Cleveland (the 22nd and 24th US President) did it. He is the only president to have served 2 non-consecutive terms.

A president can not serve more than two full terms. There was no such restriction until after FDR did it. FDR died in his 3rd term in office. Prior to FDR serving a third term it was a tradition but not a legal requirement for presidents to only serve 2 terms. Congress became concerned that a future president might become too powerful and create a dynasty, hence a 2 term restriction was enacted.

Jimmy carter and George Bush Sr. ( both 1 term presidents) could legally seek election for president again if they chose.

Yes...as long as they have only served one four year term as President they can run to serve another. There is no restriction on former US presidents from running for any other elective office. It may be considered politically uncouth though.....~~~~W

22nd amendment allows for two terms, but they don't need to be consecutive. Ex-presidents are only excluded from presidential runs after the two-term limit; they can still run for whatever else comes up.

once synthetic intelligence receives to some extent the position it would want to be indistinguishable from human intelligence, you may ought to argue that the robotic might want to be considered alive. once considered alive, it would want to have a beginning date equivalent to that of that's finished assembly, also it maximum likley will be made up of a blend of organic and organic and inorganic aspects, to get therefore far in AI, because they are operating with nurons now, so it certainly might want to have a real birthdate. as quickly because it meets this qualification, if might want to be considered born contained in the USA and after 35 years it would want to satisfy each and every of the skills nessicary to run for the presidency. The structure does no longer say that one should be human to finish that. At this aspect robotic "human" rights might want to be properly in result and it would want to be allowed to run. that is a few thing that would want to in user-friendly words happen if the human race and the USA both live on that far into the destiny, so I truly doubt both. The race would die off, or the country itself might want to merge right into a one international authorities, so that's not likely.
